• Billing information — payment card and billing address, processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
• Content you create — pipelines, contacts, messages, calendars, notes, and automation you set up in the product.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data — features used, pages viewed, and actions taken inside the product.
• Device & log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps.
• Cookies — small files that keep you signed in and help us understand how the site is used.

Your customers' information

When you use GrowLocals to manage your own leads and customers, you upload or capture their information — names, phone numbers, emails, appointment details, and conversation history. We process this on your behalf as described in Our role with your data.

03How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the platform and its features.
• Set up and secure your account, and process payments.
• Respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
• Power the automations, messaging, and AI features you choose to turn on.
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Send product updates and marketing — which you can opt out of at any time.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

04AI & automated messaging

Some features use AI to draft replies, qualify leads, and book appointments on your behalf. To do this, relevant conversation content may be processed by AI service providers under contract with us.

• We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not use it to train third-party foundation models without your instruction.
• You are responsible for the messages your account sends and for collecting any consent required to contact your customers by phone, SMS, or email.
• AI-generated responses can contain mistakes — you control which automations run and can review or disable them at any time.

05How we share information

We share information only in the limited circumstances below — we never sell it.

• Service providers — vendors who host our infrastructure, process payments, send messages, and provide AI capabilities, bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Integrations you connect — when you link a third-party tool, data flows according to that tool's permissions and policy.
• Legal & safety — when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

06Cookies & tracking

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you close your account, we retain data only as long as necessary to meet legal, tax, and security obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

10Our role with your data

For information about your own leads and customers that you store in GrowLocals, you are the controller and we act as a processor — we process that data only to provide the service and according to your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for honoring your customers' privacy rights.

11Children's privacy

GrowLocals is built for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our product and the law evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the product or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
